Search, and every answer has sources.

A new browser tab is “What are you looking for?”: type an address and the site opens, type words and an answer arrives with its sources, from your pages and the web.

One search.

Pages, your mail, messages, calls and meetings: results arrive as cards, with filters and counts. You only find what you can see.

The browser lives in the tab.

Web pages open next to your pages. A downloaded file can be saved in a space, and when Pan uses the tab a notice says so, with Stop it.

In detail

  • Local, online or both.

Choose where to search: inside the space, on the web, or together. “Local” does not go to the web, “Online” does not look at the team’s.

  • Sources open.

The numbers in the answer open the source. At the bottom you find how many it used (“5 used out of 9”) and three related questions.

  • Save as Document.

The answer, with its sources cited, becomes a page of your space.

How to use it

Five moves, from the question to the page.

  1. Open a new tab.

In the browser, a new tab is What are you looking for?.

  2. Type.

An address opens the site. Words make the answer, in the same tab.

  3. Choose where to search.

Local, Online or both, and the model, if you like.

  4. Open the sources.

Tap a source: the site opens, and back returns to the answer.

  5. Keep the answer.

    Copy, or Save as Document.

Examples

Made-up people and data.

  1. Marta and Luca, Mirto Labs

What do we have on Rossi?

Marta searches “Rossi” and finds three pages. Luca runs the same search and finds one: he cannot see two of the pages.

  2. Luca, Mirto Labs

    An answer to keep.

Luca asks how a regulation works. The answer has its sources, and he saves it as a Document in the space.

  3. Luca, Mirto Labs

    A file from the browser.

Luca downloads a PDF from a customer’s site and saves it as a File in the Pilot customers space.

Frequently asked questions

Is it like a search engine?

First it searches, then it answers: a greeting does not search and gets a short reply. For real questions the sources arrive as cards, and the answer cites them.

Do I need Pan’s key?

For the answer, yes. Without Pan or without a key you keep the pages you see, as the same cards.

What does it search, and where?

Your pages, your mail, messages, calls and meetings that you can see, and the web.

How long does a slow model take?

It does not keep the page waiting: after forty-five seconds with nothing from the network, or two and a half minutes without the first word, it stops it and says to pick another model.

Let’s see it together.

We show it to you live.
