Bring everything from where it is.
A Notion export, a folder of Markdown, a Google Drive or OneDrive .zip: folders, pages and tables land in a folder of their own, with searchable text already.
In detail
Notion, or a Markdown folder.
From a “Markdown and CSV” export (or a folder, for example from Obsidian) documents are born with their text, tables with rows and columns, folders and files. An HTML export is not read, and it says so.
Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint.
The downloaded folder is a .zip: a Word document becomes a document, each sheet of an Excel file a table. PDFs, presentations and images come in as files.
Columns are worked out from values.
Text, number, date, checkbox, choice, web address, email. Whoever manages makes the columns: for others the CSV comes in as a file, and it says so.
Nothing is duplicated.
Importing the same export again in the same space, a page that already exists is not recreated. New subpages go under the one that exists.
How to use it
Four moves, from the export to the folder.
Export from where you are.
From Notion “Markdown and CSV”; from Google Drive or OneDrive download the folder as a .zip.
Press +, Import.
Under Upload, Import: “from Notion, Google Drive, OneDrive, or your Word, Excel and Markdown files”.
Choose where.
Where? suggests Private first. A folder is born that says where it comes from: “From Notion”, “From Google Drive”, “From OneDrive”, or “Imported”.
Look at what came in.
The document is born at once in the tree with searchable text; the full content is put in by the editor the first time someone who can write opens it.
Examples
Made-up people and data.
- Marta, Mirto Labs
From Notion.
Marta exports from Notion as “Markdown and CSV”, presses +, Import, and chooses Private. A folder “From Notion” is born with the documents, tables and files.
- Luca, Mirto Labs
A folder of notes.
Luca imports the Markdown folder he used: each note becomes a document, and the text is already searchable.
- Anna, Mirto Labs
A OneDrive folder.
Anna downloads the folder as a .zip and imports it: Word documents become documents, PDFs and images come in as files.

Frequently asked questions
Are there limits?
Yes: at most 2,000 things per import, 200,000 characters of text in a document, 5,000 rows and 40 columns in a table. If something stops halfway, what was created stays, and it says how far it got.
Can I import from ClickUp, Asana or Trello?
Not yet: importing from other work tools is coming, with no dates.
What about images and attachments?
They come in as files, among the children of their page.
Who can import?
Whoever can write in the chosen space: the import works with the rules of whoever runs it, and nothing is created where they cannot write.
