You choose the apps, and make them.

The bar holds the apps you use, in your order. The + adds more, and a new one is born in six questions. Outside services write rows into your tables.

An app in six questions.

You say what it keeps, where it comes from, what it produces, how it is looked at, who uses it and what the agent does. It is born off, and starts when you turn it on.

A service sends, a row is born.

Zapier, Make or your site’s form write rows into a table. The connector’s address shows only once.

In detail

  • Outside assistants.

An external assistant, with a code you give it, works in Fallthere like you: it reads, and if the code writes it creates and changes rows, pages and tables. Nothing is deleted.

  • Every action stays written.

The log says who did what, and on whose behalf: never the content, and it cannot be changed.

  • The “+” also connects.

Besides creating, the + connects: Existing table, Repository (the space’s pages on a GitHub project, updated on their own) and Connector.

  • The organization’s apps.

Whoever has the permission to create apps writes them for everyone. They are born off, and without the declared permissions they are not made.

How to use it

Five moves, from the bar to the service.

  1. Open The apps.

The + at the bottom of the bar opens the apps window: Add puts one in the bar.

  2. Make a new one.

New app…, for those who can create apps: six questions, and it is born.

  3. Turn it on.

The app is born off. The switch starts it.

  4. Connect a service.

On a table, External services…, for whoever manages it: copy the address, which shows only once.

  5. Give an assistant a code.

In Settings, Links, External assistants…: the code can only read, or write too.

Examples

Made-up people and data.

  1. Mirto Labs

    Warehouse.

Mirto Labs builds a Warehouse app in six questions: what it keeps, where it comes from, what it produces, how it is looked at, who uses it, what the agent does. It is born off, and starts when Marta turns it on.

  2. Anna, Mirto Labs

    A service that sends rows.

A Zapier flow sends a row to the deals table for every new contact from the site. The connector’s address was shown only once.

  3. Luca, Mirto Labs

    An outside assistant.

An external assistant, with a read-only code, answers “what do I have to do?”. The log says what it read, never the content.

How do I see what it did?

In the action log, where every action of an assistant carries its name. Never the content.

Can I import from another tool?

Zapier and Make send rows into a table. Importing from other work tools is coming, with no dates.

Who can make a new app?

Whoever has the “Create apps” permission. The app is born off, and without the declared permissions it is not made.
