Choose what mail you use.
Gmail, Outlook and Microsoft 365, iCloud, or another. The guide gives you the right steps for yours.
Gmail: sign in with Google.
Google’s page opens: pick your account, grant the permission and come back here. Where that is not available, the guide has you create an app password.
Outlook: sign in with Microsoft.
Microsoft’s page opens, pick the account and grant the permission. Outlook no longer lets apps in with a password: you need the Microsoft sign-in.
iCloud: create an app password.
Apple wants a password made for the purpose to use mail in another app. You create it from your Apple account and paste it.
Another mailbox.
Write your address and the mailbox password. Fallthere finds where your mail lives on its own.
Wait a few seconds.
Trying to connect your mailbox: it takes a few seconds. Then Your mail is connected.
Things to know
The password stays locked away.
Fallthere uses it once, for the seal, and then only for your mail. It is never read back, and never ends up in a log.
The calendar: where do you keep it?
Add an outside calendar… opens Connect your calendar: Google, Outlook or iCloud, with the steps from their official pages.
You copy a secret address.
Google: the calendar’s secret address. Outlook: you publish the calendar and copy the ICS link. iCloud: you make the calendar public and copy the link. Then you paste it.
Fallthere only reads.
The events of outside calendars sit among yours, and only you see them. Whoever has the link sees the calendar: keep it to yourself. To cancel: Google, Reset; Outlook, stop publishing; iCloud, turn off Public calendar.

Frequently asked questions
Can I connect more than one mailbox?
Yes, and each can be reconnected or disconnected: Reconnect a mailbox…, Disconnect a mailbox….
Can the calendar be changed from Fallthere?
Not yet: it is read only. The two-way calendar, with Google and Outlook, is coming, with no dates.
Does the team see my mail?
No: it is yours. Only if you link a mail to a page, the page shows the link and a summary, not the text.
