A code project.
Code always works in a project of a space, with its repository on GitHub. First you connect GitHub, then you create the project.
The steps
For whoever administers, then for whoever writes the code.
Whoever administers: connect GitHub.
In Settings, Administration, GitHub: Connect the organization’s GitHub. Whoever has the “Keys” permission connects it; other administrators see how it stands.
Where do you want the repositories?
GitHub’s app lives under an owner: an organization of your team, or your account. Write what it is called.
Confirm on GitHub.
It takes you to GitHub with the app already written: you confirm with a tap and come back here.
Install the app.
On GitHub choose the owner and All repositories: it needs them to create new ones.
Whoever writes: open Coding.
In the bar there is Coding. If you have no project, the column says Which project are you working on?.
Create or choose the project.
New code project: the name, the space, and the repository is born empty and private. The first commit, the structure, is yours.
Ask Pan on the code.
In the right-hand column. It works on a branch of its own, a commit per step, and at the end of the turn it prepares the draft merge request.
Things to know
Without the app, your own access.
In My GitHub (Settings, Account) choose among three ways: the app, a classic token, a fine-grained token, with the form already filled in. A repository that already existed, or belongs to someone else, is used only with your personal token.
A one-hour code.
With the app, to clone and save Fallthere asks GitHub for a one-hour code, limited to that repository. Never kept.
The main branch is yours.
The agent does not touch it. A person does, by merging the draft.

Frequently asked questions
Is the organization’s app required?
No: you can use your personal access. The app saves everyone from creating a token.
Where does the agent run?
On the server, next to your space: each person has their own working copy of the project.
Let’s see it together.
We show it to you live.
